Adolph Friedemann 01/31/2012

Adolph Friedemann was born in 1921 in the house he resides in to this day southeast of Stillwater, Payne County, Oklahoma. He was the youngest of twelve born to his father, who moved to Oklahoma as a child from Russia and was of German descent. He attended Spring Valley School, a one-room schoolhouse where his sister taught all eight grades. It was here he learned to speak English, having been raised in a German household. After graduating from the eighth grade, he began helping his father full time on their farm, and continues to farm to this day.
