Adrian Saenz, born in Oklahoma to Mexican immigrant parents, is a 2016 graduate of Oklahoma State University (OSU) majoring in civil engineering with an environmental option and working toward a masters degree in bio-systems and agricultural engineering. He explains how he decided to go to OSU and why he chose engineering as a major. Saenz discusses his early involvement with the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers and the impact that has had. He describes the experiences he had as a student, living on a diversity floor, and relationships he developed with mentors. Saenz also talks about his continued connection with OSU. This is part of the Latino Americans: 500 Years of History project.
