Description
Billy Tucker earned a bachelor's degree (1952) and a master's degree (1953) in soil science from Oklahoma A&M College, now Oklahoma State University (OSU). He recalls his time as a student, coming from a rural farming background, and deciding to become a professor. Tucker joined the faculty of OSU in 1957 and he talks about his thirty-year career and his involvement with the historic Magruder Plots which he oversaw for twenty years.
