Description
Barbara Wickett and her sister-in-law Colleen Foster, third-generation owners of the Foster Farm, discussed the history of the land and the family that claimed it through the 1889 Land Run. Cattle and wheat were the primary historical products. At the time of the interview the land was being leased out with wheat continuing to be produced on the farm, and the lone original building still standing was a silo.
