Ben and Susie Jackson, graduates of Oklahoma State University (OSU), married in 1946 and talk about their lives as a couple. They discuss how they met and share their thoughts on marriage. Ben recalls his educational path in the agricultural sciences that took the young family to Ethiopia as part of OSU’s work there and then to Thailand where they lived for eighteen years. Susie explains that while Ben’s career involved travel, she maintained their home and looked after their daughters. The Jacksons share some fond memories of their time abroad and comment on how that affected their marriage. Susie also touches on the role of faith in their marriage and Ben comments on a few of his experiences during World War II.
