Ben Jackson, a graduate of Oklahoma A&M College (OAMC) which is now Oklahoma State University, traveled to Ethiopia with his wife, Susie, in 1955 where he put his education in agronomy to good use advancing the OAMC agricultural initiative there. They remained in Ethiopia for a little less than five years. Jackson shares their experiences of living and teaching in a very poor country. He also discusses their life after their time in Ethiopia, including eighteen years in Thailand.
