Bennie Allison and his son Greg, third and fourth-generation owners of the Allison Farm, discussed the history of the homestead and the way in which the Allison family came to own the farm through a land lottery. They shared memories of growing up on the farm, from chores to the various clubs and organizations involved with the rural lifestyle. At the time of the interview Oklahoma was experiencing a drought and Greg talked about producing and selling alfalfa rather than having cattle.
