Description
Bill and Greta Jones, third-generation owners of the Centennial Farm purchased in 1897, discussed the history of the land and the people that claimed it. The original farm produced wheat, corn, alfalfa, fruit, cattle, hogs, and chickens. At one time, cotton was grown on the farm as a cash crop. When Bill and Greta took over the farm, its main products were cattle and rye. At the time of the interview Bill had decided to retire from farming and begin leasing the land.
