Bill Kolb, born in 1951, shares fond memories of working for his father at a full-service filling station on the Will Rogers Turnpike near Vinita, Oklahoma. He describes the work he did from servicing vehicles to selling parts and services, to dealing with difficult customers. He also recalls the differences in automobiles and some of the events going on during the 1960s such as the moon walk. Bill also shares why he left the field of education and changing to become an insurance salesman.
