Bill and Jacquelyn Pope, fourth-generation owners of the Pope Farm and the Crist-Pope Farm, both acquired in 1892, discussed the history of the land and the family that claimed it. Originally the farms produced wheat, alfalfa, and cattle in addition to barley, oats, and horses. At the time of the interview cattle and wheat were the main products. Bill and Jacquelyn shared family memories in relation to the farms and the future of the farms.
