Description
Billy and Bonnie Stanley, third-generation owners of the Trigg Jett Homestead settled during the 1893 Cherokee Strip Land Run, discussed the history of the land and the family that claimed it. The original 160 acres produced alfalfa and corn. At the time of the interview Billy and Bonnie lived in the original 1901 farmhouse that had been modernized and expanded, and wheat and cattle were the main products of the homestead.
