Description
Brenda Morales, a 2005 graduate of Oklahoma State University (OSU) with a masters degree in psychology, joined the staff in the OSU Office of Multicultural Affairs in 2007. She was born in Texas and is the daughter of Mexican parents. Morales describes what it was like to grow up between two countries, two languages, and two cultures. She recalls her time as a student and notes the differences she has observed as an employee. Morales comments on her work with Hispanic and Latino students as well as on the growth and pride of the Hispanic and Latino community at OSU. This is part of the Latino Americans: 500 Years of History project.
