Description
Bryan Waytula was born and raised in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, with the artistic influences of his Cherokee mother and grandmother. Waytula received a scholarship to study art at the University of Oklahoma, and his career has focused on teaching art and coaching basketball for various schools in Oklahoma and Kansas. His art projects utilize multiple mediums and techniques. Waytula regularly enters his pointillism and portrait work in Oklahoma Native competitions, as well as other competitions.
