Carla Cale has experienced two walkouts, one as a new teacher, and one as a veteran teacher while serving as the president of the district's union. She is a first generation college graduate. She has a parent perspective, teacher perspective, and local leadership perspective. She speaks very highly of the local and state Oklahoma Education Association, National Education Association. She speaks very highly of the district's legislative representatives. She also speaks very highly of the district administration. She is proud of the work done during the walkouts, and acknowledges that there is more to be done.
