Description
Charles 'Chic' Dambach, a 1967 graduate of Oklahoma State University (OSU) with a degree in speech communications, talks about his decision to come to OSU and how he went from a football player to a student activist. He explains how he became involved with the University's speakers policy and what kind of things the group, Friday Afternoon Tea and Glee Society (FATAGS), did to protest the policy. Dambach discusses his involvement in the anti-Vietnam War movement. He mentions a few of the people he worked with and against as he helped push for change. He goes into detail about some of his relationships at OSU and in the Peace Corps and how those have impacted his life. Lastly, Dambach comments on how much he learned through his activist work and how his life has been changed by his time at OSU.
