Charles Kirkendoll Jr., born in Vinita, Oklahoma, and a lifelong resident, recalls more than a decade of working at the Glass House Restaurant on the Will Rogers Turnpike. He describes working in the bakery, cooking, and doing whatever job Annabell Southern assigned him. Charles shares stories about travelers, about the lollipop tree, and about the food served there.
