Description
Cheryl Cheadle, a 1981 graduate of Oklahoma State University (OSU), recalls her youth in Henryetta, Oklahoma, and her early experience exploring a nearby stream. She talks about how that experience turned into a career in the field of conservation. Cheadle discusses her work with the Blue Thumb program which involves training volunteers to monitor the health of streams across the state. She shares memories of making connections with citizens as well as seeing them make connections between the environment and the impact everything life can have on the quality of water for humans and wildlife alike.
