Chloe Brown 01/03/2012

Chloe L. Brown grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma. As a young girl, Chloe grew up in the historic Greenwood District with church playing a central role in her life. With a strong, supportive family where education was valued, Chloe was determined to become an educator. Upon graduation from Langston University, Chloe was hired as a teacher with Tulsa Public Schools where she has spent the majority of her career inspiring students. Outside of the classroom, Chloe is active in the Tulsa community. In 2006, she founded The Chloe House, a transition home for women that provides housing, training for employment, and resources to help them reintegrate into society.
