Claudia Scribner graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1973. She joined the staff of Senator Henry Bellmon’s Oklahoma City office. She started as a receptionist and later became the office manager where she handled the immigration and State Department case work. From that initial job, Claudia remained with Bellmon throughout her career, working with him between the time he was senator and the time he was governor, including his stint with the Cowboy Hall of Fame and the Oklahoma Department of Human Services.
