Description
Claudine Duncan was born February 3, 1921 near Frederick, Oklahoma. Her early school years were spent attending Union District 146, a two-room schoolhouse. Finishing the eighth grade there, she then attended Frederick High School where she graduated in 1938. Claudine recalls chopping and hoeing cotton and shares that she was working in the fields when she met her future husband, Jack Duncan. They married May 27, 1939 and moved onto the Duncan homestead where they continue to live today. Jack graduated from Weaver High School in 1936.
