Description
Daniel Cowns, a 2012 graduate of Oklahoma State University (OSU), discusses his life as a member of the LGBTQA+ community. He talks about his experience coming out, a close encounter with the AIDS crisis, and attending OSU. He recalls memories of the various campus clubs such as Sexual Orientation Diversity Association and activities such as the Dragonfly drag show that he participated in during his time as an undergraduate. He then discusses his experience post-graduation, which included working for Teach for America and attending graduate school.
