Description
Derek Joiner, a 2003 graduate of Oklahoma State University (OSU), recalls his experiences as a student manager for the OSU men’s basketball program. He explains this decision to attend OSU and describes his role. He also shares his memories of several of the men lost in the 2001 plane crash, including his roommate, Pat Noyes. He talks about the aftermath of the crash, the first home game after the accident, and about his relationship with Coach Eddie Sutton. In addition, Joiner discusses his career and how his degree in philosophy has helped along the way.
