Description
Dillon Graham was a student teacher during the 2018 Oklahoma walkouts. He shares his experiences on how being very new to teaching impacted how he viewed the importance of the walkouts. He also grew up in a home where both his parents were educators, and this also shaped his views on education. He advocates for staying involved in education policy and how the Oklahoma Legislature impacts education throughout the year. He recommends being an active union member to become and stay involved in the politics of education.
