Description
Don Ferrell was elected to the Oklahoma state Senate in 1966 and served through 1974. Ferrell met Henry Bellmon in the 1960s when Bellmon was the state Republican chairman. Ferrell helped Bellmon in his campaign for governor of Oklahoma. From that activity, Ferrell began a lifelong relationship with Bellmon.
