Description
Third generation owners Don and Sue Peters discussed the history of the Peters Farm, acquired in 1895 during one of the Indian allotment periods. This original farm produced cattle, hogs, chickens, and even bees, along with cotton, peanuts, and hay. The owners continued to purchase land, acquiring a total of 240 acres. At the time of the interview Don had retired from a thirty-year career in the petroleum industry and cattle was the focus of the farm.
