Description
Donald Wagner recalls his early life growing up on an Ohio farm as well as his early academic career in animal nutrition. He explains how he came to Oklahoma State University (OSU) in 1965 as a faculty member to assist in OSU's Ethiopian outreach efforts in Alemaya, Ethiopia, where his family lived for three years. Wagner also describes his life after returning to the United States in 1968 and his long-term career at OSU, including other international outreach efforts and serving as head of the Department of Animal Science for seventeen years.
