Don Wingo, third-generation owner of the Wingo Properties, discussed the history of the land and the family that purchased it in 1907. The original farm produced cotton, corn, alfalfa, legume crops, sorghum, hay, cattle, hogs, and chickens. At the time of the interview Don and his step-son were managing a hay and cattle operation on the land. Don recalled growing up on the land, his time in the Army, and his life as a farmer.
