Donna Parker, born in 1942 and a lifelong resident of Vinita, Oklahoma, discusses her life in Vinita and going to work at the Glass House Restaurant out of high school. She recalls developing a good work ethic and learning about customer service from her supervisor, Annabell Southern. Donna describes some of her duties while working there including dressing in American Indian clothing to engage with the public. She speaks fondly of the sense of family with co-workers and shares memories of events as well as everyday occurrences with travelers and customers.
