Description
Donald Lee Chappell was born in 1929 in Van Nuys, California. His mother was from Stratford, Oklahoma, and shortly after Donnie was born they moved back to Oklahoma. They settled on a family farm near Durham, in Roger Mills County, where Donnie still resides today. Having lived in Roger Mills County for most of life, Donnie reflects on his years growing up, the community and changes that have occurred throughout the county over the years.
