Description
Doris Renschen and her son Joe, third and fourth-generation owners of the Renschen Farm, discussed the history of the land and the family that purchased the property back in 1903. Originally the farm produced cattle, chickens, wheat, cotton, fruit, and vegetables. At the time of the interview the farm was producing cattle and wheat, and the owners held jobs off of the farm. Doris and Joe talked at length about the state of the original 1904 house that was still standing and serving as a family residence.
