Description
Dorothy Alexander, poet, recalls her upbringing on a farm in rural Oklahoma during the Great Depression and Dust Bowl era and how that influenced her to pursue a career in writing. She talks about her education, including her bachelor's, master's, and law degrees. She comments on her work as a lawyer and her decision to become a poet later in life. Alexander also discusses establishing her own publishing company, Village Books Press.
