Description
Dorothy Gibson, a 1970 graduate of Oklahoma State University (OSU) majoring in home economics, taught home economics and was a home demonstration agent. She talks about growing up and discovering her love of agriculture and home economics. Gibson recalls her teaching career before joining the extension program and after. She mentions some of the specific activities of the program at that time and comments on the difference between teaching high school home economics and being an extension agent.
