Description
Edward Mueller, third-generation owner of the Bartels-Mueller Farm purchased in 1906, discussed the history of the land and the family that claimed it. The original farm produced wheat, cattle, chickens, milo, and hogs. At the time of the interview the farm was producing wheat, milo, and cattle. At different times in the history of the farm, owners sold eggs and operated a floral shop in town for supplemental income. Edward inherited a portion of the farm and purchased the rest of the land from the other heirs.
