Description
Elaine Smith attended Oklahoma State University (OSU) for two years before marrying and moving to Kansas. She recalls her time at OSU majoring in elementary education and her interactions with Valerie Colvin. Smith comments on the atmosphere of OSU and how she saw the campus changing in the '60s while a student. She talks about her enthusiasm for OSU and about her children graduating from OSU. Lastly, she mentions the changes in education in Oklahoma and the current state of affairs. Smith represents Pushmataha County in the Cowboys in Every County project.
