Description
Elton and Kenneth Nimerick, brothers and third-generation owners of the Nimerick farm, acquired in 1893, discussed the history of the land as well as the family that settled it. Originally, the Nimerick farm produced kaffir corn, cotton, and corn, with wheat becoming the main crop in later years. Elton and Kenneth purchased their brothers' portions of the farm in 1985 and began using the land as pasture and for growing feed for cattle. The brothers shared memories of growing up on the farm and their future plans for the land.
