Description
Evelyn Coyle, second-generation owner of the Aden O. Coyle Farm claimed in the 1893 Cherokee Strip Land Run, discussed the history of the land and the family that claimed it. The original owner built several buildings on the homestead that were later destroyed in a tornado. The farm first produced wheat and this has continued as the primary product. In the 1960s the family made the decision to stop farming and began leasing the land.
