He describes the religious environment of his upbringing and having to negotiate between his faith and sexuality, detailing his experience at a conversion therapy camp and battling depression and anxiety throughout middle and high school. Gray discusses how he was able to seek help and accept who he was after his sophomore year at OSU and how he was motivated to become more active on campus regarding suicide prevention and mental health awareness. He also talks about his experience serving as the OSU student body senate chair.
