Frank Lucas, a 1982 graduate of Oklahoma State University (OSU) with a degree in agricultural economics, connects the lessons and experiences he had at OSU to the projects and successes he has worked on in state and national politics. He explains his interest in politics, the role Henry Bellmon played, campaigning, and the logistics of his involvement. Lucas comments on his community in Cheyenne, Oklahoma, and on his continued connections with OSU classmates, professors, and administration. He discusses his work on the Farm Bill and other agricultural related legislation as well as the long agricultural history in his family. Lucas credits some of his career success to the character building experiences and education he received at OSU education. Lucas represents Roger Mills County in the Cowboys in Every County project.
