Description
Gayle Brown, born in 1937, discusses his life's work as a conservation technician with the Soil Conservation Service (SCS). He recalls how he started with the SCS and comments on changes over the course of his career, particularly with regard to surveying, farming, and irrigation. Brown also talks about meeting his wife and discusses the car he drove to work on his first day with SCS in 1958 and on his last day of work in 1994.
