George Green

For Interview LL 25, Mr. Green, general attorney of the Santa Fe Law Firm of Rainey, Flynn, Green, and Anderson, tells of some of the things involved in the building of the railroad in Oklahoma such as describing the size of the rails, etc. He tells of the men who worked on the railroad and some of the hardships that they faced such as coupling and uncoupling cars by the chain and link method. Interviewer for LL 25 is George Shirk; the date is not listed. For Interview LL 30, George Green discusses attending state agricultural college, getting a job with the Rock Island Railroad, and moving to Guthrie in 1897.
