Description
George Long, a 1959 graduate of Oklahoma State University (OSU) with a degree in geology, recalls what it was like growing up in rural Oklahoma working on a farm before entering the oil industry as a roughneck. George discusses how he eventually enrolled as a geology student at OSU and the role attending 4-H Roundup had played. George recalls what life was like as a student living and working in Bennett Hall, dancing in the Student Union, and attending various sporting events.
