Description
Gertrude Flesher was born in Roger Mills County in Western Oklahoma in 1925. Due to railroad construction and the shifting of trade, there are five different towns listed on the birth certificates among her and her six siblings. However, they were all born at home in the same location. The town of Reydon was established in 1928, and became the address of the farm they were all born in and grew up on, and where her brother still resides. She recalls Reydon in its heyday, and Cheyenne, as well.
