Description
Harvey Arnold, a 1957 graduate of Oklahoma State University's (OSU) College of Veterinary Medicine, talks about the 1957 anthrax outbreak that affected thousands of animals in and around Oklahoma. He explains how he first started working with the United States Department of Agriculture and his role in the field. Arnold describes the vaccination process they used and the type of samples they would take from the deceased animals. He discusses some of his observations from this work and comments on his work after this event.
