She is glad they happened and believes teachers needed them to feel heard. She recounts her discussions with Bartlesville superintendent, Chuck McCauley, and Bartlesville's role in pushing the conversation to walkout across the state. She describes a post-walkouts depression as she sought to find the new normal.
