Heinz and Marliese Hall, emigrants from German, settled in Oklahoma in 1952. They share memories of their childhoods in Germany and their experiences during World War II. Heinz was a Prisoner of War and held in Oklahoma for a time before being relocated to London. He describes his experiences during this time and why he chose to return to the United States after the war ended. Marliese recalls some of her experiences during this intense time in history and the impact on her life. They explain how they came to be employed by Oklahoma State University (OSU) and talk about their life in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
