Helen C. Miller, a native of Indiana, explains her education and her various moves leading to a teaching position at Oklahoma State University (OSU). She shares some memories of the Depression, attending Campfire Girls events, and developing an interest in birds. Miller discusses several books she has written and her role in starting a chapter of the Audubon Society in Stillwater, Oklahoma. She also talks about family life in academia and her husband, Rudy Miller.
