Description
James D. Waggoner, third-generation owner of the Waggoner Homestead, discussed the history of the farm and shared memories of growing up on the land. After James graduated from Oklahoma A&M College (OAMC) as a mechanical engineer in the petroleum field, he went to work for several different companies and moved back to the farm after his retirement in 1991. The farm's major crop has been wheat and was still being produced on the land at the time of the interview.
