Description
Jack Herron, Jr., a 1969 graduate of Oklahoma State University (OSU) and former OSU basketball player, recalls his early life when he lived with his parents in Ethiopia as part of OSU's Point Four Program. He discusses being involved in 4-H and being recruited by Coach Henry Iba to play basketball for OSU. Herron describes the importance of education in his life and his career serving as superintendent for multiple school districts across the state as well as outreach coordinator for the Oklahoma School of Science and Mathematics.
