Jamie Payne, a 1995 graduate and former employee of Oklahoma State University (OSU), recalls her student experience and explains her shift into human resources. She talks about her career path and discusses her involvement with OSU’s pet therapy program known as Pete’s Pet Posse. Payne explains how the program works, what she sees as the value of the program, and who the instrumental people are in its success. She notes the contributions of the Ruff Riders, the student organization that supports the program, shares a few of her personal experiences with the program, and recalls the program’s response to the 2015 Homecoming parade tragedy.
