Jan Riggs Cloyde earned a bachelors degree in sociology in 1972 and a masters degree in student personnel and guidance in 1974 from Oklahoma State University (OSU). She recalls her youth in her hometown of Cheyenne, Oklahoma, enjoying holidays with her extended family, participating in band, and learning piano. Cloyde talks about her activities she was involved with while at OSU, mentors, and dormitory life. She explains how she got into the banking business which took her to California in 1984 where she continued to work hard and make a name for herself. She discusses her bouts with cancer, her ties to UCLA women's basketball, and her work encouraging other women to reach their potential. Cloyde represents Roger Mills County in the Cowboys in Every County project.
